Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and actor most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. The same year, She released Her first album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. At the time, she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and developed her association with Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
